We are currently working on uploading the extensive image library. This consists mainly of digital photographs with a resolution of 4 Megapixels. Access to the image library is restricted to members only; copies to non-members can be made available for a fee. Please specify which images you require, or images of which plants, and we will either find them in the library or actually go out and take those pictures for you. Just email us with your requirements. Images can also be purchased on slide film and a full list of available images will be available shortly.
Currently, we are setting up up a picture library which also contains some excellent flower photography.
Please check the Plant Index for the growing image library for the species found on Crete. Images available online are thumbnails resized to a height of 200 pixels and a file size of under 30k. All images are copyright and may not be used without prior permission by the copyright holders.
Many images will be displayed when you click on the plant names in the various lists on this website. Soon we will also have the plant identification system for non-botanists online and working, where you will be able to determine, with certain restrictions, what the plant is called that you have found.
